Intermediate Printmaking: Jigsaw Linocuts
Price
$200
Duration
Saturday, November 2nd, 9am - 4pm
About the Course
This is an advance process lino class where students work on one multicolor print and make several copies.
Utilizing the versatile relief printing medium of linoleum cutting, each student will continue methods of carving, composing and creating modular or “jigsaw” linocut prints.
In first half of class, we'll design and plan our artwork, carve the details in the lino block, and prepare the motif for printing. The second half of the day will focus on mixing ink color and best practices for creating professional art prints in a variety of colors. Everyone will walk away with several prints, and students will keep their linocut and can continue working with them at home.
Great class for those who have some printmaking experience or have taken my Intro to Linocut workshop!
