PAST: Wood Type Poster Printing

December 11, 1-5:30

About the Course

Learn some new print skills while you get your hands dirty!

During this 4.5 hour make & take workshop, you will learn the art of setting wood type by hand to create 5 letterpress posters. Choose your phrase, choose your letters from our collection of vintage type, set them up on our mid-century sign press, and print your own design! Each student will be able to mix it up with different ink and paper colors.

Aprons will be provided, but please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting a little bit dirty. Ink will stain your clothing!

Mutual Adoration frames will be available in the shop at a 20% discount for workshop attendees!
